LEDC is a non profit corporation, which promotes and fosters economic development activity in both the private and public sectors.  LEDC’s goal for Lloydminster is to foster prosperity and economic growth for all its businesses and residents.  LEDC's mandate is to:

• produce and implement an economic development strategy designed to expand, diversify, and sustain the Lloydminster economy;
• produce and implement a tourism strategy designed to increase visitation and visitor spending in Lloydminster;
• enhance the attraction of new business investment and the retention and growth of existing businesses;
• enhance the expansion of the local event and convention market;
• encourage the relocation of skilled labour to Lloydminster;
• enhance the awareness and reputation of Lloydminster within its two provinces, Canada and internationally; and
• market and promote Lloydminster for economic development.
