Lloydminster Region Community Futures

Community Futures is a federal government program that provides resources to develop and diversify the local economy. The Lloydminster region was approved for assistance under the Community Futures program in 1987 with the Business Development Centre starting operations in April of 1988. The two offices amalgamated in April of 1995 to form the Lloydminster Region Community Futures Development Corp.

North East Alberta Information HUB

The Northeast Alberta Information HUB Ltd., also known as "AlbertaHUB", is a partnership of 34 communities in northeastern Alberta. The collection of information on this web site represents the on-going effort of these communities to enhance the quality of life and economic interests of this region by promoting the area through various initiatives. AlbertaHUB provides access to community contacts, statistics, amenities, services, business and job opportunities, and other information about northeastern Alberta.

 

North West Enterprise Region

The North West Enterprise Region (NWER) is a non-profit organization specializing in economic development in the north west region of Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Small Business Loans Association (SBLA) Program

The Small Business Loans Association Program encourages diversification of the Saskatchewan economy and supports community economic development by making funding available, through community-run organizations, to non-traditional entrepreneurs. Thousands of small businesses have been assisted, and hundreds of Small Business Loans Associations (SBLA) have been formed, since the program was introduced in 1989.

 

Service Canada
Service Canada is the federal government department responsible for providing all Canadians with the tools they need to thrive and prosper in the workplace and community. Service Canada administers numerous programs related to employment insurance, youth employment and homelessness issues.

 

Streetscapes Co.

Streetscapes Co., the Lloydminster Downtown Business Improvement District (BID), is an organization formed by the downtown business community in cooperation with the City of Lloydminster. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and engages in community programs and activities that work to secure a solid future for the downtown area, which in effect, enhances the overall appeal of the city.
